INSTRUCTIONS FOR IDENTIFYING YOUR

STATE SENATOR AND ASSEMBLY MEMBER

FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH ACCESS TO A COMPUTER:

State Senators and Assembly Members can be easily identified as follows:

  1. Go to the New York League of Women’s Voters web page, at http://www.lwvny.org
  2. Find the heading labeled "Citizen Information/Government", then click the link for "New York State".
  3. Scroll down to find the sections for the New York State Senate and State Assembly. To the right of each is a link to find your representative.

FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER OR WHO CANNOT OPERATE A COMPUTER:

There are many sources of information relating to identifying your representatives, including local telephone books, public librarians, public offices (i.e., town or city halls, state office buildings) or by contacting the general information number in Albany for the State Senate at 518 455 2800 or the State Assembly at 518 455 4100. If nothing else works, call or email any of the individuals listed below.
